Peace...I'm out, for now
As the election is over, and it did not go in our favor, there is no reason for me to continue blogging for McCain/Palin in 2008.
Don't get your hopes up, this couple ain't running again...
What's next? Well, I'm considering blogging about the current political system but I'm almost too sad to follow along each daily developments.
I'll probably get back into it, but for now, au revoire, and good luck!

It wasn't race...no really, it wasn't race!
I like Powell.... but it seems to me that race had much more significant impact on his support for Obama than did the content of his character..
A bit of chastising those that didn't care to vote or get involved..
Now that the elections are over, and Democrats have picked up significant gains in all areas of the government that will affect every one of us quite drastically, I hope that everyone of us that cares about our rights values and future of the country can say that they did everything we could for the election.
I know that a number of people in the Romanian community registered new voters, discussed the issues, donated time or money and worked to get people out to vote which is commendable and they should be thanked. I do think, however, that we could have done more and this should be a wake-up call for anyone that says they care about building the right future for us and our children, but did little to nothing to get involved.
If you did not vote and you could have… or you did not care enough to register in time, you should be ashamed of yourself and of any family member or friends. I make no apology for saying that.
How could we have made an impact? And still can in the future?
Just in Washington state..
1. Not everyone in Seattle is liberal, and it’s probably between 55 – 60% that are liberal and 40-45% Conservative. Nonetheless, only 10% of King County voted! Many, if not most of us live in King County which means that all we needed to do was get more Conservatives to come out
2. Dinno Rossi lost the election in 2004 by less than 150 votes. If every eligible person over 18+ voted just from the Romanian Christian community and made sure that their friends and family had voted, Dinno Rossi would have been governor.
3. Dinno Rossi most likely will lose the election in Washington state this time around by 1%- - 4% margin. That means potentially 10,555 votes or less.. Dinno has not conceded and there is a small possibility that something went wrong and he’ll win, but I’m not holding my breath.
a. Gregoire says she wants to implement a state income tax and sales tax will raise as high as 10% or more – highest in the nation – in this economic time.
b. Gregoire/Washington State has passed or is passing legislation that bars the government to do with businesses that don’t provide ‘same-sex benefits.’
4. Initiative 1029 which will negatively affect all Adult Family Homes in this critical time, PASSED by 75%/25% making it more difficult for AFH owners to survive in this already bad economy. If you or your family have an AFH and you didn’t do anything about this, then you have no one to blame but yourself.
5. Initiative 1000 which legalizes patients to take their life (suicide) passed by about 60/40.
As for the local Republican races, most Republicans lost, but the close ones are:
1. Mary Fairhurst, super liberal Supreme Court justice, won re-election in the Primary, the election a few months ago by about 60%/40%. She is quoted with saying “history will look at this day in shame” when DOMA (marriage between man and woman) was upheld by a narrow 5-4 vote. Judges are elected in the Primary, which is why they weren’t on the ballot this time and even less people vote in the primary – we all should have. Her term and all the other liberal judges are 6 years. Next time it comes up, probably within the next 4 years, I have little hope that DOMA will be upheld.
2. Superiorly qualified State Treasurer Allan Martin endorsed by the current Democratic State Treasure failed by less than 1% to a no-nothing Democrat just b/c Allan Martin. Your tax money will now be recklessly more wasted
3. Dough Sutherland, Commisioner of Public Lands, a good Republican, lost by less than 1%.
4. Dave Reichert a Republican is currently leading by less than 1000 votes, .04% but this could change. If he loses, Darcy Burner is the most abortion-pro candidate as you can go, just like Obama having a”100% NARAL rating.”
5. Toby Nixon, a good and smart man, co-worker of mine lost in the State Senate by about 60/40, despite being superior to the Democratic opponent.
Detailed election results here: http://vote.wa.gov/elections/wei/
In these close races where ~1% was lost, we here may have been able to make a difference. Think about that.
If you don’t believe this country can become worse than Romania under Communism in 10+ years, you are not aware what is going on around you.. and may wake up one day and say “I wish I had done more when I could.”
Get involved now. Every person, dollars, every minute and every flyer counts.

McCain's speech
Though too bad you didn't ask me to help ya buddy!!
Hold your head up high, be proud, we put up a great fight..
In a political climate that ran against us 100:1, we are still making out strong and Obama may end up 2,3,4,5% above 50% but we still made a strong showing.
Everything that we REALLY know about Obama is scary. If all is true, the only light that we have is that we get to re-elect in four years...
Rest assurd is that he knows this. It's hard to predict how he will 'rule' - will he rule from the center-left like Clinton or from the far left... like ... Lenin.
Either way, who knows, he MAY end up being a decent President. If he is, then I'll support him.
If not, then believe me, we'll take it back in four years.
God Bless Us All!

Encouraging email received
Awesome encouraging email I recived.
Thanks David and to all other David's out there!Hi Paul. This is David from La Crescenta, CA. Thanks for the
email. I have bought more minutes for my cell phone and will be using all
my rollover minutes to call voters in battleground states. In the last few
days I have made about 1,200 calls to these voters. Tomorrow I'll be
making calls too. I just want you to know that your weblog has helped fire
me up to get this done! Thanks for being such a great American and superb
supporter of John McCain and Sarah Palin!! Country first Paul and onward
to victory!!! Take care, Paul.

VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!
All of this talk and NOT VOTING makes for ABSOLUTELY ZERO.
So, GET OUT THERE AND VOTE, CALL, TEXT AND EMAIL EVERYONE YOU KNOW!
We can pull this off. The most accurate poll in 20004 says it's a toss-up.
I leave you with this:

Will McCain pick an upset? I think so.

These are words that are, actually, somewhat difficult for me to say. John McCain wasn't my favorite candidate in the primaries. For the better part of eight years, he's been on the wrong side of many crucial issues. So I am not making this prediction based on any love of my former Arizona senator. (And forgive me for a slightly windy post, but I want to provide evidence for my congratulatory note.)
A week ago ("Don't Look Now . . . But There Won't Be an Obama Swag-Bag"), I warned that the numbers in the early voting were not sufficient for the Messiah to win---not in Colorado, not in Florida, and at the time, barely enough to carry California. Since then, the numbers in CO have improved for Obama, but in my view not nearly enough. The numbers in Florida remain daunting for him, and California still is stunningly close in terms of Democrat/Republican splits. Based on that, and some other factors, I predicted there would be no Obama victory, and no Obama "Swag-Bag." (Did anyone see the Obama voter who said the Messiah would pay off her mortgage and pay for her gas!?)
*CO will be Republican by about 2 points.
*NV will be a 2 point or better final for McCain.
*MO will be a 4 or 5 point McCain win.
*NM will end up a 2-point McCain loss.
*We will bring in OH at 2 or 3 points---better than Bush did in 04.
*FL will be a double digit McCain lead. GA and NC won't be that close.
*Here's the clincher: the southern part of VA, combined with the west, will give McCain a 1- to 2-point win in the Old Dominion.
*I won't predict NH, IA, or PA. These are very, very close. If I had to guess, I'd say McCain wins NH, loses PA by razor thin margins---but there's that darned "Bradley Effect," and it is real, and it may well bring PA along.
The critical element of the "early" black vote that all pundits have missed is reflected in the Morris "7:1" comment. In normal elections, cameras go to polling places and show lines. High turnout, low turnout, but the crowds are almost always mixed. This year, "early" voting, combined with the emphasis on Obama's race (and he has run the most racist campaign since Bull Conner), the images have overwhelmingly been of . . . crowds of black voters.
If I am proven right on November 5, and John McCain is elected president, it will be due to the incredibly stupid, wasteful ad spending by Obama for four months that was forgotten in the last 72 hours; it will be due the early voting that reinforced in the minds of the middle-class and white voters of all economic backgrounds that when Obama says he wants to "spread the wealth around," he really is coming for MY house.
And above all---let's give credit where credit is due---it will be because of a relentless performance by Sarah Palin, a brilliantly choreographed campaign by McCain's managers, and to the gritty, plodding but oh-so-successful turtle from Arizona.

We had a great rally in Bellevue Wa today!
Approximately 30 people showed up, and 5 - 10 were just off the streets.
One of the guys that joined us was Mike who served in 2 or 3 tours with the Marines, including Faluija and was part of the crew that was accused by Rep Murtha of "murdering civilians." He was holding the "Iraq Vets against Obama."
Shocking Audio: Obama Promises to Bankrupt Coal Industry
Quote:
The problem is not technical, uh, and the problem is not mastery of the legislative intricacies of Washington. The problem is, uh, can you get the American people to say, “This is really important,” and force their representatives to do the right thing? That requires mobilizing a citizenry. That requires them understanding what is at stake. Uh, and climate change is a great example. You know, when I was asked earlier about the issue of coal, uh, you know — Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad. Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, uh, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will
Gateway Pundit provides a partial transcript:
Let me sort of describe my overall policy.
What I’ve said is that we would put a cap and trade system in place that is as aggressive, if not more aggressive, than anybody else’s out there.
I was the first to call for a 100% auction on the cap and trade system, which means that every unit of carbon or greenhouse gases emitted would be charged to the polluter. That will create a market in which whatever technologies are out there that are being presented, whatever power plants that are being built, that they would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted down caps that are being placed, imposed every year.
So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.
That will also generate billions of dollars that we can invest in solar, wind, biodiesel and other alternative energy approaches.
The only thing I’ve said with respect to coal, I haven’t been some coal booster. What I have said is that for us to take coal off the table as a ideological matter as opposed to saying if technology allows us to use coal in a clean way, we should pursue it.
So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can.
It’s just that it will bankrupt them.”
Rick Moran:
This illustrates better than anything the folly of “cap and trade” proposals. Obama plans to use his C&T plan as a gigantic club to beat up on power companies and coal companies (and the miners) if they don’t meet his arbitrary and capricious “targets” that drop every year regardless of any progress technologically in finding ways to mitigate the carbon output of power plants.
It will almost certainly cause a lot of smaller coal companies to either cut their work force as the demand for coal – our most abundant energy source – shrinks and probably drive a lot of these smaller concerns out of business.
And what about his gloating about driving businesses to bankruptcy? Has there ever been a presidential candidate who looked forward to the prospect of destroying someone’s life’s work and costing thousands of people their jobs?
But at least the Euro-twits pushing Global Warming won’t be mad at us anymore.
Ed Morrissey:
Obama already called for a 15% reduction in demand for electricity — at the same time he and his allies want transportation to switch from gasoline to electricity. Obama never explained this particular contradiction. How does one switch tens of millions of vehicles from gasoline to electricity while not Increasing demand, let alone by cutting it 15%? And when trying to break free from a recession, the nation will need greater production in energy, not a reduction. The coal-based economics of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, and other states will be the first to feel this new policy. Let’s hope the voters there pay attention.
The Anchoress:
I don’t know why the McCain camp is not running constant ads - at least in PA and Virginial, highlighting Obama’s admission that - given the opportunity - he’ll bankrupt any new coal plants.
Give him a chance, the news just hit today thanks to the new media, not the old. It was hidden before.
Newsbuster’s points out that the SF Chronicle didn’t mention this statement in their original article on this interview.
Wizbang:
Voters in coal states around the country need to know this. Barack Obama wants to essentially kill the coal industry, which is in line with Biden’s previous comment that there should be no coal plants in America. These are the coal states that would be affected if Obama is able to implement his Cap and Trade policy. It would also affect those companies right now that currently use coal as fuel. They would be hit so hard with fines that they would either have to invest in major capital changes to their plants to switch to a new fuel or go under.
Wake Up America:
Looks like Biden wasn’t contradicting Obama at all when his words were reported and shown on video.

Obama says middle class is limited to 70K / year.
**November 2nd Rally in Downtown Bellevue**
We'll use some official signs and and homemade signs. We've done this before and it was very succesful. We even had people join us off the streets despite Washington being "one of the most liberal states"!
We will also be passing out flyers showing OBMA link to ACORN, AYRES, REZKO... the list goes on n on and on...
Stay as long as you can, expectation is for 30 minutes - 1 hour. Plan is to meet late morning in the local Starbucks and start demonstration around early afternoon.
Details subject to change, please get this out to your circle of influence. The other way you can help is by alerting the local media such as Seattle Times, Eastside Journal, Kiro Tv etc.. I'll be sending the emails, but the more peopel do it the higher visibility..
I have 10+ people tentatively confirmed. If we can get 10,20 more, we'll have a big impact!
This is a great way to get involved!
Thanks,

Current propoganda ergh.. I mean flyer:
OBAMA IS NOT A DEMOCRAT
Obama is not a Democrat. Obama’s policy falls in line with Socialism and Marxism. He has participated in, surrounded himself with, and taken action that is not Democratic or Republican but falls in line with Socialism. A vote for Obama is a vote against the country.
1. OBAMA will not protect the Constitution – he has stated the “Constitution reflected fundamental flaw that continues to this day..” and stated he wants to “redefine it.”
2. Obama’s “redistribution of wealth” comment should be taken seriously. He stated that “the more ..Marxists ..” his friends were, the better.
3. OBMA was endorsed, represented and provided training to ACORN - the most corrupt, anti-democratic organization that is at the center of voter-fraud and the subprime mortgage crisis.
4. OBAMA’s ‘Community Organizing’ work was nothing more than gathering votes for corrupt politicians and policies.
5. OBAMA’s endorsements and influences include, but not limited to: Terrorist William Ayres, anti-American and anti-Semite Rev Jeremiah Wright, HAMAS, IRAN’s Ahmadinejad, Communist Dictator Hugo Chavez, Cuba’s Castro dictators etc…
6. OBAMA’s anti-capitalist socialist economic policies has brought destruction to Illinois and Michigan economies.
7. Obama lied on the mortgage crisis. It was his policies that led to the crisis. OBAMA resisted reform brought by McCain and other members of Congress that could have prevented the sub-prime collapse.
8. Obama is no moderate or ‘compromiser’ – he has voted with major Democratic policies 97% of the time and is regarded as “the most liberal member of the Senate.”
9. Obama’s abortion view is EXTREME. He is neither pro-choice or pro-life; He is pro infanticide. He voted 4x to deny babies of failed abortions medical protection.
10. Obama is the most anti-personal protection candidate ever. He has voted to prosecute and criminalize a homeowner that DEFENDS themselves with the use of a gun.
11. 1st Amendment rights are under attack. Among many other things, Obama attempted to prosecute via the US DOJ political groups that chose to exercise their political free speech.
12. Obama may be committing Election Fraud and refuses to provide full levels of transparency in fundraising.
Obama is the most dangerous man in America. A vote for Obama is a vote against the principles that this country was founded on and contra to 99% of the views of mainstream America. Vote for Prospertiy, vote for Freedom, vote for

"It was the most memorable time of my life.."
“I never thought this day would happen. . . . I won’t have to work on puttin’ gas in my car. I won’t have to work at payin’ my mortgage. You know. If I help him (Obama), he’s gonna help me.”
No further explanation needed.
EDIT: Some might see posting this as being racist. That's not it at all. What's alarming about this statement person is that she firmly believes that she won't have to work if she helps Obama get elected. That thinking is scary and consistent with criticism on 'redistribution of wealth' and 'marxism.'

Colber endorses Obama, though will not support him, yet vote McCain and suggests McCain endorse Obama to show 'judgement'
1. He endorsed Obama…however..
2. Will not support Obama.. and yet....
3. Will vote McCain..and..
4. Suggests to McCain that he endorse Obama to show ‘judgement.’
I can never tell which way he leans though my bias says he leans Conservative; he has a vote McCain banner on the set! Liberals might say the same which is maybe why both sides of the aisles like him.
I kid you not, I get more ‘balanced’ news and feel more empowered to make my own political analysis from Colbert than I get from any other TV news crap channel out there.
In related news – Colbert viewers are the smartest. Surprise?
Obama and America

President John F. Kennedy said, “Ask not what your country can do for you. Rather, ask what you can do for your country.”
Barrack Obama says, “I think we should share the wealth” and thinks the Supreme Court should take an active position to redistribute wealth. He wants the government to take from you and give to unproductive people by taxing large corporations and wealthy people, forcing millions of customers to pay those taxes in the form of higher prices for the products sold.
The Christian Bible says, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
Barrack Obama says, “Get in your neighbor’s face and argue”.
The United States Constitution says the people have a right to bear arms. Thirty seven individual States have a “Right to Carry” a gun law in effect.
Senator Obama's record on the Second Amendment is as follows: he has supported a complete ban on handguns, he voted to ban most rifle ammunition, he opposes the right to carry for self-defense, he voted to allow prosecution of citizens for using firearms for self-defense in their own homes.
Crime statistics show that over 2 million crimes, each year, are stopped by citizens with guns. Statistics prove that when a community institutes a gun ban, crime jumps. When a community says everyone can have a gun, crime drops in that town and goes up in nearby towns with a gun ban.
The US Constitution starts out by saying the People have a right to Life.
Obama says, “Let ‘live abortion’ babies die”.
Americans, like most people of this World, do not like secrets. When someone has a secret, that they don’t want you to know, it is rarely in your interest. Obama, with the help of our major media, fights desperately to keep many things about Obama’s life a secret. Obama doesn’t want to discuss his long term relations with William Ayers, who organized bombings of government buildings in America. William Ayers is a two bit light weight compared to some of Obama’s other conspirators.
Obama’s religious faith is questionable. Is he Christian or Muslim? To most Americans, it doesn’t matter, as we have a right to worship as we please. But does a man who attends a “Christian” church for 20 years, where his minister screams, “God D** America!!” really believe in the Christian principle of “Love Thy Neighbor”? Obama said he was not aware of Reverend Wright’s attitude towards America. The Bible says, “Thou shalt not lie”, but obviously Obama does lie.

Choose your friends wisely...

These statements are so shocking, than in any other election at any other time in history, someone that said this wouldn't even get 1% of the vote! Yet somehow, there is a very good chance that this person will be our next President!
Keep in mind that most pedophiles, serial killers and dictators initially seem like very "nice guys, wouldn't hurt a fly.." run with a populist message, "poor me.. help me help you.." etc... and then ........they slaughter you. What do they have in common? They are all masterful deceivers.
Yes, I'm comparing Obama to those categories not in that they share any crime, but that they share the personality and deception.
Welcome back Jeremiah!
Welcome back!
One more thing, here's Obama saying how carefully he picks his friends.. "Marxists and ultra feminists"
